Choose the correct answer.

Which of the following is used by some non-flowering plants to reproduce?
A. Spore
B. Anther
That's Correct!
It's Wrong!

Some non-flowering plants use spores to reproduce. This is called asexual reproduction. Fertilization isn’t required for such reproduction. Spores are small-celled units which can reproduce if they are blown away from the plant and fall on wet ground.

On the other hand, the anther is the male reproductive part of a plant which produces pollen. The pollen has to then be carried to another plant to be united with the female egg before fertilization can take place.
