A. Cirrus
B. Stratus
C. Cumulus
D. Nimbus
That's Correct!
It's Wrong!

Nimbus clouds always “partner” with other kinds of clouds, such as “cumulonimbus” or “nimbostratus” clouds. Either kind of nimbus cloud always brings rain.

Cirrus clouds are made mostly out of ice crystals, seen high in the atmosphere, and almost never bring rain. Stratus clouds are flat and thin; you can usually see the sun through them. Cumulus clouds are known as fair-weather clouds — the puffy white kind that sometimes produce thunderstorms.
